Easter weekend – Part 3

Easter morning we continued a tradition I’ve done for many years and went to our church’s sunrise service at 6:30 AM with grandpa & grandma “S” – which used to sound way too early to me (I even used to come home afterwards & take a nap…a nap sounds wonderful!) but now fits right within with our schedule. We also enjoyed a delicious Easter breakfast following the service.

After church & breakfast, we headed home to do some Eater basket hunting. Wyatt found his basket first in the playroom, right behind the pack ‘n play. They were both helping “search” so they got kind of hung up on all the goodies in Wyatt’s basket until we reminded them that we still needed to find Colton’s basket. Colton found his basket shortly after in the boys room, behind the door. The Easter bunny brought the boys a basketful of fun goodies including flashlights, sidewalk chalk, two new books, a stuffed Pluto & Donald (to add to our stuffed Mickey & Goofy collection we already have), a big-hollow chocolate rabbit & a rake/shovel set. We’re saving the big, chocolate mess for another weekend soon!

Searching...

Found Wyatt's 1st!

...and there's Colton's too!

Checking out all the Easter goodies.

We headed out to grandpa & grandma “S”’s house for lunch & playtime with cousins “I” & “N”. We had a delicious lunch of ham, potatoes & corn. The boys had a blast playing with their cousins too. We headed out at the boys naptime to let them sleep in the car on our ride to our last Easter stop of the weekend.
