Saturday started out nice & sunny, but by lunchtime the clouds & rain had set in.
The rain gave the boys a nice “white noise” to nap to…Cory & I might have also taken a nap that afternoon – there is not much else to do on a rainy afternoon while camping!
When the boys woke up from their naps, the rain had pretty much quit so we dressed them up in their rain boots & jackets and let them play outside. They had a blast! They loved playing in their boots. The rain would drizzle from time to time but they didn’t care – they were having fun. They also played a fun little game of sticking their hands & rain-coat-hood-covered heads under the dripping water from the camper awnings & laughing. That evolved into Wyatt taking his hood off & soaking his little head in the water – which ended in him being soaked from head to toe, but they were having fun.

The boys had a full change of clothes after that & warmed up in the camper for a little bit. The rain cleared again for us to enjoy cooking over the fire and sitting around it before bedtime.
A rainy, but fun day indeed!
