4-wheeler Fun!

Last year for the boys’ 2nd birthday, we bought them a 2-seater battery powered Jeep. They seemed to love it, but they had no concept of steering while riding in it (although they definitely knew how to run the gas pedal!). This meant exercise for Mom & Dad, continuously following them around & steering them away from road blocks. We figured they’d figure it out in no time this spring when we brought it out of storage, but they just never seemed quite interested in it and steering was still an issue they couldn’t conquer. We visited some friends in late spring & their kids had battery powered 4-wheelers that my boys totally LOVED! (They ran them until the batteries died that day while visiting.) We knew this was a better option for our family. So, we sold the Jeep & bought two battery powered 4-wheelers (early birthday presents!). Best.purchase.ever! They have ridden them non-stop since the day we brought them home. I also ended up buying cute personalized license plates so they each have their “own” 4-wheeler. When they run the battery out on their 4-wheeler, they have to ask brother before taking his. This has worked really well for us & they share great with each other too. They also know they have to wear their helmets when riding & ask for help when needing to put it on or take it off. Here are some pictures of their 4-wheeler fun one Sunday after church.

Ready to ride.
(yes, still in our church clothes!)

Hard to see...but they are showing off
their cool camo personalized license plates.
