Our morning started with a treadmill run for me & Cat in the Hat for the boys followed by breakfast. We scooted off to daycare for 9 o’clock show-and-tell time for the letter “V”. Wyatt brought play vegetables (broccoli, carrot & tomato) & Colton brought a vacuum (& a vegetable – corn). (Don’t be too critical of our vegetable choices, as I know some of them are not technically a vegetable.) After show-and-tell, I read a couple books to their class, as their current theme of the month is “Storybook Gardens”. It was something the boys were excited for me to do and I was glad to be able to take the time out of the day to spend with their friends.
After daycare, we headed to our favorite local children’s museum. We hit this on a busy day as many local schools were in their spring break week so the place was packed & overly busy. We did get some play time in & ran into a friend of our as well. We didn’t stay as long as planned because of the business, but we were onto bigger & better things…froyo!!

We hit up a local frozen yogurt shop (after stopping at the first one, only to find they didn’t open until noon) & had a yummy pre-lunch snack! With Colton’s peanut allergy, we really have to be careful with these kind of places but they were great enough to have an allergen menu posted on their wall & he ended up choosing plain chocolate yogurt without any mix-ins, so it worked out very well.

From there, we headed home for lunch & naps (me included!). By the time the boys woke up from nap, daddy was home from work & his run outside.
It was a good day with lots of fun & two very well behaved boys – which always makes it a little less stressful for mommy too! Can’t wait to do it again!
