Quick update. Winter still has a grip on us in Wisconsin – although there is light at the end of the tunnel with 50s, 60s & even 70s in the forecast through the upcoming weekend – is.spring.finally.here??!! (Note: we have not had a 50 degree day yet in 2013 – we’re so ready for this!)
I held a garage sale last Thursday – Sunday. It was time to purge that baby stuff that was taking over our basement. Unlucky for us, it was totally not garage-sale weather – 40s & snow most of the time. Regardless of the weather, we had a decent turnout & got rid of all the “big” things and a ton of clothes/toys. We still have a bunch of toys & clothes left, so we decided to run it one more week (as other neighbors of ours are having sales this weekend).
My aunt, cousin & her 3-year-old son came down to visit on Saturday afternoon and we had a swim day at a local hotel along with my mom, sister & nephews. 5 boys, ages 4 & under – they all had a blast. I, however, left my camera in the car, so I have no pictures to document the craziness fun had by all. We went out to a local Mexican restaurant for dinner afterwards – where the little boys ate the ultimate-Mexican-food: macaroni & cheese. Such a fun afternoon/evening.
