I like to give an update of what the boys' typical day looks like from time to time.
The boys’ typical day at 9 months old looks like this:
5:30-6:00 am: get up, on weekdays both of you just hang out or play while mommy gets ready for work (if you get up before she’s ready), on the weekends we usually play your seahorse or sound machine projector until it’s after 6 AM
6:15-6:30 am: early morning bottle
7:45-8 am: naps (sometimes, if you woke up before 5:30 AM)
8:30-9 am: breakfast (yogurt & snack – crackers, bread or pancakes) & bottle, wash up & lotion, change into clothes for the day, playtime
9:30-11 am: naps (depending if you already had a morning nap)
11:45 am-noon: lunch (oatmeal cereal with fruit & snack – crackers, puffs, bread or noodles) & bottle, more playtime
1-2:00 pm: afternoon naps
3:00-3:30 pm: snack (crackers or puffs) & mid-afternoon bottle, playtime
3:30 pm: weekdays daddy home from work, daddy takes Bailey for walk, does yard work or does odds & ends around the house or garage
4:15-4:45 pm: naps some days, other days just more playtime
4:20 pm: weekdays mommy home from work, if you are napping then mommy works out or does laundry or pays bills or cleans up, otherwise we PLAY!
6 pm: supper (rice cereal with veggie & snack – crackers or puffs) & bottle, a little playtime and then we start the bedtime routine of lotion & pjs (& a bath if it’s bath night), in bed by 6:45-7:15 pm
8:30-9:00 pm: one last bottle for the day (we are hoping to cut this bottle out as the boys start eating more & more “real” food)
