Easter – Part 3 – Easter Day

We continued our tradition of sunrise Easter morning service followed by Easter breakfast (egg bake & baked goodies) at our church. It used to seem so early, before I had kids that are natural born early-risers!

After church, we headed home to search for the boys’ Easter baskets. Colton’s was hiding in the playroom closet and Wyatt’s was hiding behind their bedroom door. They dug through their new Easter goodies – kites, water bottles, movies & airplanes – and then we all relaxed for a bit before heading out to my parent’s house for lunch.

My sister, brother-in-law and nephews were out at my parents by the time we arrived. After a yummy ham lunch, we headed outside & enjoyed the beautiful day. This included another Easter egg hunt, Jeep rides, swing set play time and croquet.

We haven’t had too many warm, clear days this spring, so we took advantage of this great one & spent much of our time outside enjoying it.

The egg hunt is on...

Colton spoting a few.

The "special orange" egg had a quarter in it!

They were both so excited to show me their money!

Cool dude.

It takes concentration!

Colton looks so grown up in this picture.

Funny face!
