Weekend Re-cap

We had another fun weekend. Friday night I went with my mom & sister to a local greenhouse to pick out a couple hanging baskets for my front porch. Saturday we spent the day cleaning and packing up the camper, getting ready for our first camping trip as a family of 4. We also made our weekly Wal-Mart trip – just to get out of the house for a bit. My nephew was baptized yesterday, so we enjoyed spending the day with lots of family & friends (although Colton had a slight meltdown during church until we could get him back to my sister’s house for a nap – church is always during the boys’ morning naptime, so it’s really hit or miss).

Boys’ updates:

Wyatt has been pulling himself up onto things more & more every day. He’s still a little wobbly (and a bit too brave!), which makes me nervous but it so fun to see him explore his new skills.

Colton is using rolling to get around more & more. He also started what appears to be an attempt to crawl last week. He pushes his butt and knees up a bit and wiggles around – this only gets him moving backwards, which is frustrating to him sometimes, but he sure it trying!

And, yes, I promise to get their 10 months at-home pictures take this week. This is the most behind I have been on them yet but it’s been so busy at home lately and even though I’ve been taking pictures, I haven’t broken out the “official” 10 months sign.

  1. Haha! I love the "attempt" picture! I bet that's a more realistic portrayal of life with twins!
