Happy Mother’s Day!

This year was my first “official” Mother’s Day (although Cory spoiled me with a massage certificate and made me feel like a special mom-to-be last year!). I had a wonderful day. Cory was sweet enough to let me sleep in (he took the morning feeding by himself) which was very much appreciated! I received a beautiful, personalized necklace from Cory & the boys (it’s a hand-stamped necklace personalized with the boys’ names, birthdate and birthstone). The boys also made me hand-print Mother’s Day cards at daycare last week – which were so cute.

Sunday morning we made our weekly trip to Wal-Mart for some groceries and then headed out to my parent’s house for a Mother’s Day grill out with my Mom, Dad, sisters and nephews. It was a pretty nice day out and my Dad grilled up a delicious lunch, which we ended on a sweet note – Dairy Queen ice cream cake! We were also able to get outside and take a few update family photos, which turned out really good – thanks to my sister for taking them.
