Sleep has been up & down the past two weeks, although it seems to be getting back to normal this week. I think me having last week off might have thrown the boys off a bit because they didn’t nap very well either. The boys are still sleeping around 10 hours each night. They fall asleep after their 5:30-6 PM bottle which ends up being somewhere between 7-7:30 PM and don’t wake up much for their last bottle around 8:45 PM. They are sleeping in their cribs for the night around 9:15-9:30 PM (most of the time). They sleep until around 5:30-6 AM.
We’re moving through the boys’ first foods – it was sweet potatoes & pears last week, which were huge hits – and my mom is going to try out peas for lunch today, so we’ll see how that goes. I’m planning on making some of my own baby food (I received a food processor from my parents for Christmas) so I got my food processor washed up and ready to go. I found a really helpful website, www.wholesomebabyfood.com, that has good tips & recipes I’m hoping to use. The boys have also been practicing with sippy cups.
Wyatt
Wyatt is still king of the Jumperoo. He has become totally aware of his surroundings and hates it when you leave the room without him. Wyatt rolls over from his tummy to his back – on either his left or right side. He does not stay on his tummy for anything, so tummy time is a struggle with him.
Colton
Colton has finally started bouncing in the Jumperoo! He started a couple nights ago with kicking his feet a bunch, which made him move a little bit and has slowly progressed to a little bit more of a jumping motion. Colton also rolls over from his tummy to his back but still will stay on his tummy long enough to enjoy a little bit of tummy time.
I leave you with pictures of the cutest things in the world - baby feet!
