Tech College Ultrasound

We went to the local tech college last night for a free ultrasound. The students there take in appointments from women 16 weeks or more pregnant to help get them get some hands-on practice.

The ultrasound went really well. Two different students scanned us (they were both very nice girls) – one scanned Baby A & one scanned Baby B. One of the instructors was in the room & guiding them through the first baby. The ultrasound re-confirmed that we really do have two little boys in there – two active boys to be exact! The boys were wiggling & stretching & punching & kicking & yawning the whole time. They did settle down enough from time-to-time to get some good profile pictures of them and to allow the students to attempt to get a couple 3-D images of them (which turned out so-so).

Baby A’s heart rate was 144 and had an estimated weight of 1 lb. 5 oz. Baby B’s heart rate was 152 and had an estimated weight of 1 lb. 8 oz. Both good measurements and still growing big & strong!

It was a great experience and I would recommend it to anyone.
