So many things have happened within the last week – it’s been a really fun week.
We had our first birthing class last Wednesday & the second birthing class (night 2 of the 2 night course) last night. It was a great, informative class that we both enjoyed and learned from. They even showed a twins live birth during one of the videos – just for us!
On the home-front, Cory did some priming of the extra bedrooms during the day last Friday. Friday night, my parents came over and helped Cory put on the first coat of paint and then my dad returned Saturday morning so he & Cory could put a second coat of paint on. The rooms look awesome – I really like the color. Big, big “Thank You!!”s to my wonderful husband & my parents for their hard work on the painting. On Tuesday afternoon, we also had the carpet installed; so now both extra rooms are complete and ready to be “put back together”! (I’m planning on tackling this project this weekend or early next week…hopefully.)
My mom & I headed to a “Moms of Multiples” consignment sale on Saturday (we both got a few good items – mostly clothes for me, including little camouflage baseball hats for the boys) and also stopped by Babies ‘R Us for some more shopping & to pick up the boy’s cribs. It was a very fun day spent with my mom!
We really enjoyed our ultrasounds at the local technical college on Monday night. I had a routine doctor’s appointment on Tuesday – everything is looking good. I am measuring at 30 weeks right now (6 weeks ahead), which is a little ahead of the “normal” twins measurements of 4 weeks ahead but the doctor explained that it is mostly due to having a lot of fluid around the babies, which is a good thing! We had my nephew over on Tuesday night while my sister had a class to go to – he is such a blast!
It’s been a great week and I have been feeling so good too!
