There have not been too many changes to report since last week. Cory & I had a relaxing weekend with no big plans – we just got some things done around the house and bummed around a bit. We had a delicious dinner out on Saturday night at a local BBQ joint – we brought home plenty of leftovers.
We completed our 2-week birthing class last week and now we have a 1-week “Newborn Care” class to go to tonight that I am excited about. I know a lot of things will be learned by trial & error, but I’m hoping this class will give us a few tips on things to do or try with the boys when we bring them home. The class also has a pediatrician present for part of the night, so I’m excited to see what we will get to learn from them too.
I have my first family baby showers (my mom & dad’s side of the family) this weekend – one on each day – which I am looking forward to. I am really excited – baby showers are so much fun and I’m happy to have the opportunity to see some family I haven’t seen in awhile.
