I am happy to say that I am finally getting over this cough/cold that I’ve had for a couple weeks now and just in time to get outside & enjoy this beautiful weather we’ve been this week. Cory & I have been getting out for some walks lately, which have felt really good.
I started to get sick the day Cory & I made a trip to Babies ‘R Us to register, so that kind of made a bummer of a day but we got the registering done anyway. We also ordered the babies’ cribs while we were there too (Cory picked them out) – we just got the call yesterday that they are in & ready to be picked up – very exciting!! Now, the rooms just have to get ready to actually put the cribs in first!
We have been making good progress on our home improvement projects in the past month. We had our roof re-shingled a couple weeks ago – it looks really nice. We also have the two extra rooms totally cleaned out and ready for a face-lift. We picked out the second room’s carpet this week, so now we’re ready to pick out the wall paint colors & move forward. Tomorrow we are having our bath tub refinished (it was easier than and just as cost effective as totally replacing it) and Cory is going to paint the ceilings in the two extra rooms. If I can get the wall colors picked out this weekend then we may get the walls painted next week or weekend – which will then only leave the carpet to be replaced.
On the baby-front, the babies have been moving more & more – getting more into a daily routine of when I can feel them punching & kicking around. Cory has been able to feel them from the outside as well, so that has been really exciting. Keep growing babies…keep growing!
