We had our yearly family pictures scheduled to be taken this past Monday, but the forecast called for rain & high winds. (We ended up rescheduling them to last night instead, which turned out to be a cool but beautiful evening.) On Monday, the rain never showed up but the winds did – so Cory had the perfect idea for our evening – KITES!
We hadn’t flown kites since late-last summer so it had been awhile but the boys were still excited. They had each gotten new kites for both Easter & their birthday. They had their choice between Dusty (they are on a big “Planes” kick right now), Superman or Batman…the super heroes won out.
The winds had died down some by the time we got home from work/school and got out into the field, but there was still plenty of wind for them to have fun.
