28 Weeks

*How far along? 28 weeks 4 days
*How big is baby? The babies are as big as eggplants during this 6th month.
*Genders? Two boys!
*Total weight gain? I am up around 20-25 lbs or so from pre-pregnancy weight.
*Maternity Clothes? All maternity clothes now!
*Stretch marks? None yet – keeping my fingers crossed!
*Sleep? staying steady – bathroom breaks are still frequent and rolling over is more difficult each day.
*Movement? I definitely have two active little boys in there and they remind me of that daily – this is the number one thing I will miss about being pregnant.
*Food cravings? No strong ”pregnancy” cravings – although my mom & I had a free sample of some frozen yogurt on Friday afternoon and that is all I’ve been thinking about ever since...
*Labor signs? None really – I believe I’m having Braxton-Hicks contracts daily but nothing consistent at all.
*Belly button in or out? It’s pretty much “popped” all the way out; I don’t my “innie” left anymore.
*What I miss? Getting a ton done around the house and out & about in one day – we cleaned house yesterday, did some shopping and got groceries – I was tired and my feet were sore by the end of that!
*What I am looking forward to? Not looking forward to it – but doing my 3-hour glucose test tomorrow morning & getting the results back one way or another. I failed my 1-hour glucose test last Monday & I hate being in this “waiting” period where I don’t know if I’m worried for nothing or if I’ll have to deal with having Gestational Diabetes during the rest of my pregnancy.
*Best moment this week? I had a blast having the day off of work & spending it thrift-saleing with my Mom on Friday – also, thanks to a good friend, I found an awesome deal on a slightly used Double Snap & Go stroller which I will use as my stroller for the babies’ first 6 months or so. I also had a great time Friday night going out to supper with the “softball” girls. I haven’t seen some of them in awhile, so it was nice to get caught up and they were super awesome and gave us a tons of gifts for the boys, including a Radio Flyer wagon & our 2nd high chair – thanks girls, you are the BEST!!
