I count each week that passes, without complications, during this pregnancy a huge blessing from God. I can’t wait to meet these two little boys but I don’t want them to make an appearance anytime soon. I want them to grow & develop as much as possible before they enter this world.
The biggest highlight of this past week was the wonderful baby shower two of my closest friends put on for me this past Sunday. It included a small group of high school friends, along with a couple of their moms that I am fairly close to. My shower hostesses went above & beyond on everything – the food, the desserts, the party favors – I can’t thank them enough. Instead of the normal baby shower games they provided plain white onesies & burp rags for the shower guests to decorate with paints & markers. It was such a cute idea and they turned out awesome! I received some amazing gifts from all of my friends – they all truly are the best and have been so generous to the boys already. A big “Thank You!” to all the ladies that made it out to my shower on Sunday.
We also had our last birth class last night which was “Breastfeeding”. The class was very informative and I received a lot of good information from the class. Cory came along with me and did not feel out of place at all as most of the ladies that attended class also brought their significant others along. He has been my biggest support throughout this whole pregnancy and this class showed him other ways to help out & support me after the babies are born.
