(yes, I’m late, I know…but I still wanted to send out a big THANKS to the great dad’s we have in our lives – especially to my hubby who is the best fun, involved, crazy, loving, caring dad to our two little boys and to my own dad who is always there for us, no matter what!)
The start of our Father’s Day was spent packing up & traveling back home from the weekend camping.
After naps, we headed down to a local sports store to have Cory pick out some new running shoes (much needed & long overdue) while the boys & I ran a couple other errands. We got done with our errands before he was done picking out his shoes so the store associate helping Cory was kind enough to give each of the boys $1 to use in their in-store mini-bowling game. The boys & I headed over there to give Cory some more “quiet time” and had a blast bowling. (They are still talking about wanting to go back there & play another game.) After “the” running shoes were selected, we headed over to a local fire-brick oven pizza place to wrap up the day with a yummy Father’s day dinner.
