Fun in the snow at Papa’s

The boys & I spent some time out at my parents’ house a couple weekends ago. My mom was away for a weekend with her sisters & Cory was away ice fishing at a friend’s cabin. The boys & I met up with my sister & nephews Saturday morning at the local children’s museum and had a blast. We headed over to Papa’s for lunch & to spend the afternoon.

After naps, we all bundled up & headed outside for some snow fun! Wyatt went down a little hill in the sled with Papa once and then took it on by himself another time – the second time down ended in the sled tipping over & Wyatt getting a face full of snow (which he didn’t like much), but he kept on truckin’. The temps were in the mid-20s, so it wasn’t too bad to bear for a little bit. The boys also helped Papa do some shoveling before it was time to head in. (Note to self: buy some kid-size shovels if they are on sale for Papa’s house…1 small shovel & 4 small boys does not equal very much fun!)

Two in the sled.

Colton wasn't the happiest about coming outside,
but ended up having fun!

Wyatt's turn!

Warming up back inside - watching a movie.
