Cory’s good friend got married the weekend after Labor Day. Cory was in the wedding, which of course left me in charge of the boys for the festivities that day.
The wedding ceremony was right in the middle of naptime, but my dad was kind enough to come over & stay with the boys while they slept so that I could attend. It was a short, but sweet ceremony & I was home before Wyatt even woke up.
After naps & snacks, we headed to the reception. The wedding party arrived shortly after we did & the boys were very excited to see daddy! There were plenty of friends & family there to keep the boys entertained & plenty of snacks to keep them occupied (although, I think they ate a few too many snacks because neither of them touch a thing for dinner).
After dinner, they cleared out some tables & the DJ started up his music. Between running around outside & dancing with the other kids – the boys were having fun & staying busy.
When both boys looked like they were going to fall asleep on the dance floor, I decided it was time to head for bed. My parents were kind enough to take the boys overnight, so that I could come back & enjoy the rest of the dance & have a little kid-free time. A full nights’ sleep was much appreciated!
The boys had a blast & looked so handsome all dressed up! Congrats to our friends – G & S!
