Memorial Day Weekend – Day 4: Monday

All fun camping weekends must come to an end & this one was no different. After a yummy breakfast, a couple more 4-wheeler rides and a bath for Bailey, we got everything packed up & headed home. To tell you the truth, this is my least favorite part of the weekend. It’s nice to get back home, but then there is the unpacking & laundry that stares you in the face when all you want to do is relax!

Colton feel asleep no more than 5 minutes after we were in the car – the busy weekend caught up with him quick! Wyatt stayed awake the entire ride home but was very upset that he couldn’t have his blanket (I’m sure he was tired too) because I had packed them in the camper – poor little guy got all worked up.

When we got home, we had lunch & the boys went down for their nap. Of course, with all the sleep Colton had on the way home, he took a very short one. He was up in less than 30 minutes, so he got to help with all the unpacking – lucky kid (OK, so he actually just played while Cory & I did the unpacking). He also helped Daddy with washing everything up – including the boys’ bubble mowers. He had a blast!

Spraying it off first.

Get your sponge & water ready...

Supervising daddy!

Washing the mower!

It was a great first camping trip of the year & a fun, long weekend of relaxing.

With the “unofficial” start of summer behind us – we are looking forward to a busy but fun summer!
