I was able to enjoy a day off of work and Cory & I were able to enjoy another relaxing camping trip this past weekend, along with my parents & aunt/uncle. The weather cooperated with us for the most part and I was even able to get a little bit of fishing in with my parents. On Sunday when we got back home & unpacked, my sister came over and helped me sort through all of the clothes I had and all of the clothes I got as gifts to see what I had too much of and what I still needed. She was such a big help – I thank her very, very much! My grandparents are also in town for a couple weeks so I was able to visit with them for a short while on Sunday evening out at my parents’ house.
This week Cory & I have been busy continuing to work on nursery items – our second crib mattress came in, so that is great to have purchased; I have taken tags off of & washed a ton of clothes/bibs/burp rags & blankets we received as gifts; we also have both the bouncer & the swing put together (as of last night). I feel like we are making progress which makes me a bit more relaxed.
I also had a checkup appointment with the doctor yesterday. I saw a different doctor this week because my normal doctor is out on vacation. It was actually kind of interesting getting another doctor’s prospective on my pregnancy & twin pregnancies in general. Everything is still looking good and everything seems to be right on track – we thank God everyday for good health & growth without complications for both me & the babies!
