Labor Day Weekend

Labor Day weekend was spent up at Cory’s dad’s land this year – they started building a cabin on the cement slab that was already there when he bought the land. The boys & I came up camping for the extended weekend. When we headed home on Monday, we left Cory, his dad & brother behind for the remainder of the week to continue their hard work.

It was a fun weekend to wrap up our summer – the boys & I to hit up the beach, the ice cream shop & the playground. We also just hung around the land where the boys occupied themselves for hours using their tools to “build” plenty of fun things with the scrap plywood. My niece & her friend were also along and the boys enjoyed playing with them again.

I hate to see summer come to an end but we had tons of fun this summer and were able to do almost everything I had on my “summer bucket list”. The boys are at such a fun age right now (although also equally challenging) which made it so enjoyable to share all these fun experiences with them; watching them learn, have fun & grow!

We tipped Colton's over into a dish = easier to eat!

Colton was a helper too.

(Good progress for just one weekend!)
